forgiveness

Filed under: Uncategorized — Trey Edwards @ 5:12 am

Dear people of the world today,
I bring a question to you now,
If you were each to die today,
Would you see God, or be below?

This is a question for you to ponder
For you, for all of your dear friends,
What good is it to be held in wonder,
Just to be food for Hell’s fiery fiends.

God has died, for one, for all.
He sent his Son to be the light
To undo all of Adam’s fall,
To make his wrong deeds right.

If you believe upon him now,
He will forgive your every sin,
Just lay your deeds before him low,
and beg to be the least of men.

Minutes To Midnight

Filed under: Good CD, Linkin Park, Minutes To Midnight — Trey Edwards @ 9:14 am

Hey, I just bought Minutes To Midnight, Linkin Park’s new CD. I like what i have heard so far, but i checked the lyrics before i bought it, and you want to watch out for “Given Up,” “Bleed It Out,” and “Hands Held High.” I have never seen that much bad language in a Linkin Park song. I deleted all three of them. None of the other songs has even one bad word in them, and one song, the highlight of the album, What I’ve Done, even has a pretty good morale to it. Once again, they have played their drums and guitars to the level of excellence that I have come to expect from Linkin Park. I got the special edition, with a movie(that doesent work as a download to WMP 9.1), a live version of What I’ve Done, and a live version of another one of their songs, Breaking The Habit. It came out two days ago. I bought the entire CD(15 songs) for $10.20, including tax, from Walmart Music Downloads. It is legal, sold by Walmart, in their music section. One thing I like about Walmart Music Downloads, is they offer a good, legal, free download every week, changing on Teusday. I like most of them.

Our school year is officially over. Ahhh. The joys of being home schooled! we didn’t take much time off during the school year, so we had another half of a month added to our summer break. yay. i don’t have that much planned for this summer, mainly just mowing, and sitting at my computer, doing… whatever you do at a computer :) Mom is having her implants activated tomorrow, but it should take several times before they can program them to optimum efficiency. Jenny is starting to feel the effects of being pregnant. she is very tired, and queasy. please pray for both her, and Mom. we are looking for a new van, since one was totaled in a wreck, but no one was hurt. we have our eyes set on one that is almost exactly the same as the one that we lost. the funny thing was, we paid $1800 for the van that got destroyed, but the Bluebook price was $3500. the insurance gave us $3300. that means we made a significant amount of money from crashing a van. haha. And, the van we are considering getting to replace it, costs… $3300. surely this cannot happen by coincidence. God works in even the small matters of life. oh, speaking of which, i am writing another poem, but i am stuck on it. once i get it finished, i will try to remember to put it on here.

… of people SWEARING!

Jas 5:12 But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.

Howdy folks!

Sorry I have not been on here for a while. Mom’s third and final surgery is done, and she is home, but she is in a lot of pain right now, and the painkillers make her tired and queasy. My Lawn Business has finally started to become more of a regular thing, and it is going very well. We have been very busy and stressed out lately. we have agreed to never have a wedding and three brain surgery’s in successive weeks, again :) Jennifer and Micah are doing really good in Michigan, except they had a gas leak in their apartment complex which apparently sent one of the neighbors to the hospital. Micah has been sleeping a lot, he has been very busy, so Jenny is very “board” right now :) I got them a movie as their wedding present, two days ago. i know that is not what you usually get someone for their wedding, but I offered to cure her “board”ness, and she said she wanted Night at The Museum. I’ve always wanted to watch that movie.
