Myt vision is perfect, but I am going to be getting some special glasses to use when I am working on the computer, because of all of our different types of screens and screen resolutions.

Harry Potter: The Order Of The Phoenix

Filed under: Uncategorized — Trey Edwards @ 8:25 pm

I have actually watched this movie two times since it cam out. I absolutely love it! I would definitely have to give it a five-star rating. I don’t know much Harry Potter, I have watched the 2cd, 3rd, 4th, and finally, the 5th, movie, and have read none of the books. I do not know how Harry Potter-obsessed kids would like it, as I am not one of them. Despite that fact, I think it was a wonderful movie. In fact, I would have to rate it as one of the best movies I have ever watched. My favorite part in the movie, from a special effects point of view, would definitely have to be the fight in the Prophecy room, and the following one between Dumbledore, Harry (yeah right, the wimp just hid in the corner, as usual), and Voldemort. From an amusing point of view, my favorite part would be how Ron, Ghinny, Luna, and Nevil escaped from Malfoy, Crabb, and Goyle. I cannot provide a favorite point of view as far as the storyline goes, as it is a continuation of four separate movies, and I would have to rate their storyline, as well. My favorite new character was Loony- I mean, Luna Lovegood. She was rather interesting. I think it was the Nargle’s fault, don’t you? I can’t wait for the next two movies to come out, which, according to Wikipedia, are scheduled for 2008 and 2010. Now… why did they skip a year? Hmmm… too bad.

I have had several seizures (or whatever you want to call them) since my last post, each of them growing progressively worse. The same thing has happened to Shawn since he went to the doctor. We do not know what to do, except eat healthy, and stay out of the extraordinarily high heat levels we have been having as of late. so far, it has been working, I have not had one in several days. I have been wanting to start exercising, now that I am now mowing multiple lawns a week, but it appears that I will have to wait until it cools down, since I cannot do much out side. I am going to be attending the 412 Conference this weekend, and I am excited about that. Also, there is going to be a Lunar Eclipse tomorrow (august 28), that can be seen by all of North and some of South America. I might watch that, my window faces the moon, so it will be no big deal. I have been watching a lot of movies in the theaters lately, and I thought I might give some reviews after I post this. Maybe I can count it as my writing… yes, I can. cool!

oh, yeah, Shawn had another seizure yesterday.

I went to the doctor, and they took an X-ray of my knee. they did not find anything wrong, but it still hurts. bad. I am going to go to a nerosurgeon soon, because they think what I had was a seizure, like Shawn’s. Shawn had to stay up all night on Wendsday, And I stayed up with him part of the time. we played X-box and three-player computer games to pass the time. I might have to do the same thing. and my computer is dead, I will have to ask Dad to fix it, it is WAY past my level.

:(

Yesterday, I had a siezure-thing. We are not quite sure what happened, I am going to the doctors tommorow.  It was very similar to what happened to Shawn(refer to Mom’s and Dad’s blog), and it happened at the same time of day, but just different days.  Please pray that we will get this figured out soon, that we can prevent it in the future, and that my leg will heal soon.
I fell off of my loft bed, onto my knee.  :( I cannot put any weight on it. I think I dislocated and then relocated it in quick sucession.  Hardly being able to walk is annoying, to say the least.

RAM

Filed under: Uncategorized — Trey Edwards @ 8:39 am

I told you I had started a computer class at the beginning of this school year, and that I enjoyed it a ton! well, this is my frist of many computer reports.

For my computer class lately, I have been studying RAM in general. RAM is the memory in a computer. It stands for “Random Access Memory.” It is what keeps all of the programs running in the background. It is constantly writing, accessing, deleting, and rewriting information to the thousands of tiny chips inside of it. I have mainly confined my research so far to the different types of RAM that there are. According to all of the information that I found, there are literally dozens of different types of RAM, only a few of which are actually in production, some being obsolete, and several types that haven’t even come out yet. I printed off a whole lot of information on the different types of RAM today, and will be reading it over the next couple of weeks. I have it all in a binder that I am going to be putting all of my computer class papers in for the duration of it.
The types of RAM that are currently in production are: SDRAM, DDR, DDR1, DDR2, and Rambus RAM. That is not including any Mac RAM, I do not know what kind of RAM they use. SDRAM is mainly used for older computers, like mine, specifically for Pentium II and III’s. DDR, DDR1, and DDR2 are all used for the latest computer, including the Pentium III’s, IV’s, Dual Core, and the Celeron and the Duo-Core processors. They are normal to advanced RAM modules. Rambus RAM is used only for a few Pentium IV’s. They are the special, elite RAM modules, but are not currently very popular, because Rambus, the company that builds it, had some serious legal issues, and the big companies, like, Dell, for instance, cut their contracts, and so not many computers are built these days with Rambus RAM in them.
