Trey’s Writing for 11-20-2007
Journal Entry
“My plan for the upcoming Fall and Winter”
Well, a great blessing has occurred lately: I got some miracle pills that apparently take care of at least the more severe physical problems that come with Periodical Paralysis. Therefore, I will be able to do some yard work this fall, at least until I turn fifteen. When I turn fifteen, I hope that I can get a part-time job at McDonald’s, or somewhere similar, although I would prefer not to work in fast-food, even though it might not work out that way. I am going to continue trying to find ways to do my school and daily obligations in a timely manner, and to learn not to get distracted while I am working/doing school. I am not sure quite how I will be doing the raking this year. I have not decided if I will just help Naomi whenever she needs it, or if I am going to actually go into business for myself, like Naomi, but on a much smaller scale, since my main focus right now is my school, and I do not want to make my current condition worse, as far as that goes. If I get a good grip on my school situation, then I will pick back up on both my guitar lessons, and my computer research, hopefully. Hopefully, I can get a better grip on the amount of money that I am spending, and enter into next Spring with a sizable amount of cash in store. I am currently considering several options in this regard. Normally, I would just put it into my Savings account, and try to learn to control my money-spending urges, but I have found that it takes all of 60 seconds or less, to transfer any amount of money from my savings, to my checking account, and it will be available immediately. What I am considering, is opening an account at a bank, most likely an online one, that I will earn a little interest on. hopefully, once I see that I am actually gaining something by leaving it in there, then I will be less likely to withdraw it out of there to but music, and electronics.

I am currently working on copying the lyrics from the little booklet with the CD, to a Word Document, so I can be one of the first people in existence to put lyrics to the new CD up on the Net. I don’t want to mput them on here, so I will create another blog soley for that purpose. link will be posted soon. it will most likely be hellhathnofuryatall.blogspot.com, if it is available.

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who was a vowed atheist and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He
looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, “God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I’ll give you exactly 15 minutes.”

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, “Here I am God. I’m still waiting.”

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his Chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence.

The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, “What the hell is the matter with you? Why did you do that?” The Marine calmly replied, “God was too busy today protecting America ’s soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid shit and act like an ass. So, He sent me.”

long post about me

Filed under: Uncategorized — Trey Edwards @ 10:20 am

this is my new About Me on Facebook. I was going to keep going, but apparentle there is some sort of 3000 charachter limit on it. I seem to be rambling today.

I beleive in…
-fighting for my faith, not sitting back and letting just God do the work. I beleive in actively living a life for Christ, in every part of life, and not just in the church. I will uphold the morals that Demon Hunter teaches until my death. Our liife as a Christian is not to be one of simply telling a couple of people about God, getting babtized, and going to church avery week, it is much more than that. I beleive that we should fight for our Lord, literally, and figuratively, physically, and mentally.

I beleive in…
-Helping those in need, with no expectation of retribution
-Setting a christian example to others simply by living a life that blatantly declares to everyone that “I AM DIFFERENT,” and in a way that will make them ask “why are you different?”
-Becoming a very active person in the lives of my church, and christian friends.

Now, for a little about me:
At the time of writing this, I am fourteen years of age, but I will be fifteen in less than a month, my birthday is on Dec. 1st. I am a complete and total computer geek, and my favorite pastime is working on computers. I specialize in improving performance on slow machines. I am ahead in school, I am in Algebra 2, and I am abt 70% done with our curriculum. I plan on taking Calhoun for two years, to learn my basics, and then going to UAH for the last two years. I will study HArdware Engineering, and will either work in a place like Sparte, or Boeing, or I will go into audio designing. the former is my favorite, and the latter is better paying. Up until a few months ago, I was mowing for money, but I was forced to quit because of medical problems. I have a serious, undiagnosed medical disorder. I have severe weakness attacks, which have had gotten to the point that I am having other, more severe physical problems. I am currently waiting for a neurologist to call back with a possible diagnose, and I am doing it very impatiently. I think that I am both the most Awesome, and the most Humble person in the world, and will keep reminding you of it until you kill me out of frustration. I like “My coffee black, just like my metal.” I love metal that is a mix of screaming, and intelligble, meaning-implying, lyrics. I am obsessed over Demon Hunter, their CD that came out today is arriving tomorrow, it is the most awesome CD that I have ever heard in my life. I live in a family of… 14, with 11 kids (5 boys, 6 girls), my parents, and my grandmother who lives with us. I have one sister who is married, one brother that left “abruptly (so we shall say)”, and one who moved out yesterday to live with a friend. I play with deadly knives, and the sharper they are, and the longer blade they have, the more satisfied I am. My most recent aqusisition on the line is a Matix-style steel folding knife, with a 4&3/4 in. blade, verrry sharp. I have not shopped in a store in months, I order everything off of Amazon, we have the free two-day shipping, which we pay $80 a year for.
